Systems Practice Forum 2026

Delft, Netherlands
July 24, 2026

The Systems Practice Forum 2026, hosted by the System Dynamics Society MIT Chapter at the International System Dynamics Conference 2026 at Delft University of Technology, is actively seeking practitioner-led presentations.

We are specifically looking for speakers across two core pillars:

Real-World Applications

Demonstrations of digital twin thinking, system-based approaches, or related applied to high-stakes problems, including (but not limited to) System Dynamics models functioning as living systems with ongoing data integration, simulation, and decision support.

Communicating Complexity

Proven approaches for translating complex system insights into executive action, including visualization, storytelling, stakeholder engagement, and overcoming the mental model barrier.

Presenters may share System Dynamics work or broader real-world cases where complex systems were modeled, interpreted, or navigated to inform better decisions—even if the approach was not formally labeled as System Dynamics.

We invite professionals or graduate students who can show how analysis moved beyond insight into actionable, sustained decision-making infrastructure within organizations.

Selected presenters will not be required to pay an event fee for that day.

Presentation Topic

This is an in-person event at Delft, Netherlands. If selected, your attendance fee is waived.
